Since its founding, Sequatchie Concrete Service has made a commitment to innovation and keeping up with the latest technological advancements in the ready mix industry. We have developed a centralized dispatch center that acts as the information command hub of our company.

Information Needed When Ordering
In order to better serve all our customers, we ask each of you to please have the following information readily available when you call to place your order:
- Name: Please provide the full name of the person ordering or resposible for payment.
- Date & Time: Please provide dispatcher with the date and approximate time that you would like your delivery. Please note that we will do everything possible to accomodate your requested date and time, but that this is not always possible. We do recommend that you call 2-3 days in advance to place your order.
- Delivery Address & Directions: Provide dispatcher with a physical address of your job site, including zip code. Please be as clear as possible when giving directions. In addition to the maps that we provide our drivers, your directions help us to provide landmarks and intersections that assist in delivering your product on time.
- Telephone Number: We ask that you provide us with a telephone contact for yourself or someone else that will be on the job site. This allows us to maintain the communication we need to provide you with quality service.
- Work Type: (i.e.: driveway, curb, footing, etc.). In addition to helping our dispatchers determine the correct mix and slump needed for your project, this information is given to drivers to enable them to find your job site.
- Mix & Slump: If you are uncertain, our dispatchers can assist you in determining what is needed based on the type of work you are doing.
- Quantity Needed: Our dispatchers will gladly assist you in figuring your quantity based on the dimensions you provide. You may also visit our Concrete Calculators for assistance. Please keep in mind that our figures do not compensate for for uneven grading, settling or spillage. We recommend that you order 10% extra, or round your figures up to the nearest 1/4 yard.
- Truck Spacing: This refers to the amount of time needed to unload your truck. This will be ask especially if your project requires more than one truck. If you are unsure, please do not hesitate to discuss this with our dispatchers. They are aware of average unload times for most types of work and can recommend spaciing.
- Extra Products: Integral color, fibers or other admixtures that may be needed for your project.
- Active or Will Call: We refer to Active Orders as those that will be delivered to your job site at the specified time unless you call to cancel. If you need to cancel your order, you must call a minimum of 1 hour before the scheduled delivery time. We gladly accept Will Calls, with the following stipulations:
- We consider the time you give for a Will Call as the time our trucks should arrive on your job site.
- Will Calls at or before 9:00 am must be released as Active Orders by 3:00 pm the day prior.
- Will Calls must be confirmed two hours prior to delivery time. Any Will Calls not confirmed by the two hour cut-off time will be cancelled. They can be reactivated by calling and rescheduling. Trucks for non-confirmed Will Calls will be released for other business if not confirmed as stated above.
- Will Calls are neither a guarantee for Sequatchie Concrete Service nor the customer. Active Orders will take precedent. A truck will not be held for a Will Call, thus the need to confirm two hours in advance.
Other Useful Information
- Small Load Charges: All loads under 4 cubic yards are subject to a minimum load fee. Original orders over 9 cubic yards will be allowed one clean-up load without a small load charge.
- Environmental Fees: Each load is subject to a $4 environmental fee.
- Fuel Surcharges: The dollar amount of the Fuel Surcharge will fluctuate monthly to accomodate for changes in fuel prices.
- Winter Fees: During the winter months, all orders are subject to a $2 per cubic yard Winter Fee to accomodate for additional costs incurred to manufacture your product.
- Excessive Unloading Time or Additional Job Sites: All orders are priced based on a 45 minute unloading time. Any additional time not allotted for will be subject to a charge of $65 per hour. If concrete is unloaded at a second or more sites, the time from the first site's arrival to the last site's unlaod time will be used to calculate the unloading time charges. In addition, all shipments to more than one job site will be subject to a $100 delivery fee.
- Saturday Deliveries: Saturday deliveries are available by appointment only and are subject to minimum job requirements and/or plant opening fees.
